I've written before about what "stringing" is for dollar bills
(stringing-bills) when people try to get change out of a change machine, however until recently I never saw someone trying to string quarters into washers, dryers, or video games.
Ooops! Spoke too soon!
Below are quarters with the fishing line still in them, that I found in one of the video games in the store.
It must have been a family of thieves because when I emptied the small gumball machines there were pennies and dimes taped up to try to make them as big as quarters in order to get the candy out.
Keep an eye on your collections!
