Recently there was a question to Alliance Technician Tony regarding the loading doors on the 40lb and 60lb hardmount washers from Huebsch and Speed Queen sometimes being hard to close and open for customers. He provided me with this answer and fix.

A couple of customers mentioned that the loading doors on the C60 and C40 cabinet washers are hard to push the door handle into the closed position.
Turns out this is an active quality issue currently being reviewed with the Quality team.
Currently, there is no official communication or bulletin it will be out soon.
In the field we have addressed with following.
- Add one shim, part number F8484401 to the existing behind the L catch.
- Plus add two door hinge shims top and bottom to the existing shims, this kit has two shims F200131000P
- After installation run a cycle, check for leaks at the six o’clock position of the door seal. The parts are under warranty.
