If you are looking for a way to give back to the community and get some good PR in terms of reviews and word of mouth advertising, Laundry Cares is a great organization to get started. Several of the readers of this blog are active in using one of the literacy programs that Laundry Cares offers. A few of the pictures I took of some of these locations are below. To find out more about Laundry Cares programs get in touch with Dan Naumann and tell him "Everet sent me!"

A Heck of A Nice Guy
The following is from the Laundry Cares website: www.LaundryCares.org
At a LaundryCares Foundation we know that giving children the chance to choose their own book to take home is transformative. This simple act empowers them to explore their interests, fostering a love for reading through self-directed discovery. When children select books that resonate with their passions, they’re more likely to engage with the material, deepening their connection to reading and learning. Book ownership is a cornerstone of literacy development—it creates a personal library, promotes repeated reading, and instills pride in their growing skills. By placing the joy of choice and the gift of a book in a child’s hands, we’re planting the seeds for lifelong learning and opening doors to a world of possibilities.
