Fixing Front Loading Washer Leak

 

"Your washer is leaking," the customer said.
"See the water is coming right out of the bottom of the door."
Immediate questions to ask:

Did you lock the door? Check
Door completely closed? Check

Did you fill the soap tray BEFORE starting the machine? Check
Not overstuffed so that laundry is pushing the door outwards? Check

No cracks in the door or window? Check

So where is the water coming from?
